From attending soccer games to overseas travel, SmartScoot™ helps Bruce do it all!
Whether it’s simply running errands or traveling the world with family and friends, SmartScoot™ helps those with limited mobility take part in activities that may have once been a struggle.
SmartScoot is a compact, foldable, lightweight mobility scooter that incorporates various features that are intended to meet all of your specific needs. Some of these key features include a long-lasting lithium-ion battery, luggage rack, adjustable wheel width, front-wheel drive, and much more.
One of our customers, Bruce, shared with us a range of activities that he has been able to participate in thanks to his SmartScoot:
“In March and April, I used my new SmartScoot to attend our grandkids’ soccer games – sometimes on damp grassy fields quite far from the nearest parking lots, which would have been difficult for me to navigate with just my cane. The SmartScoot’s front-wheel-drive made it possible and fun … and its built-in cane holder was great.
“In May, I took my SmartScoot on a trip to Alsace, France and was really pleased with the ability to ride the scooter right to the door of the plane. I found that taking the scooter into museums and cathedrals was no problem, given the ability to adjust the width of the rear wheels to fit even narrow doorways. Although I, of course, prefer to ride my SmartScoot in beautiful dry weather, that wasn’t always possible in France, and the scooter handled the unexpected occasional shower with no problems.
“In August, I was able to enjoy the fun with friends in a 3.5 mile ‘Falmouth Walk’ event that I wouldn’t otherwise have been able to join. I even got several questions from folks who were very interested on behalf of their family members.
“All in all, very happy with my purchase!”
We’re proud to help those with limited mobility maintain their independent and active lifestyles with SmartScoot – rain or shine! We have also recently debuted a new accessory, the SmartScoot Cover, to help protect your scooter from the harsh elements.
